Weapon Upgrades Which is best?
I have been finding a lot of upgrades for weapons lately and I don't know what is even worth trying to sell to other players or if it is even worth it. Could someone please let me know what the most valueable upgrades are for any weapon, all if you can thanks.

well id say
1. 30+ hp upgrade 2. 5:1 (3:1 for swords and axes) lifesteal 3. Sundering = 10% armor penetration (10% chance) 4. zealous = 1:1 energy steal 5. furious = Chance of gaining double adrenaline on hit 6. Chance of added attribute when using skill (example: 1+ marksmanship 20% chance while using skills) 7. elemental upgrades 8. the rest I havent slept for 2 days so ill blame my faults on sleepiness like everyone else when theyre unsure |

which makes them less perfect. you can save yourself thousands and thousands of gold by purchasing a +29 Fortitude rather than a +30....or purchasing a 4:1 rather than a 5:1 vampiric upgrade...or a 9% chance instead of a 10% chance on a sundering... |

u forgot armor bonus upgrade which if you go by your ranking would be at the top due to the fact that it will spare u a % of HP than will end up being more than the HP than u get from a HP upgrade

Since we have someone here claiming that a armor bonus would be better than a hp bonus, and I don't know for sure. Someone please explain how much armor bonus you need to make an armor bonus worth more than a health bonus.
+2 armor is not going to be better than +30 health, I think, but would +5? Feel free to jump into mathspeak, I understand that language and this is really mathspeak discussion. And feel free to sell me the upgrades that are not the most valueable, but are the most effective. |

Actually, the more health you have, the more valuable your armor upgrade will be. If you were (stupidly) packing 3 Superior runes, yeah, you'd want a health ugrade. But in most cases, any armor upgrade is going to kick butt, because then you have more use from the HP you have, especially in PVP where your monk will be healing you.

Well someone asked the upgrades I have... I have a couple fortitudes that are 20 and 21 as well as a shocking hammer grip (something like that). But I have about 16 items that are rare and purple... All have interesting mods on them... One is a bow with a +1 marks 20% chance on it... Just tons of upgrades. I was wondering if they worth trying to salvage or just sell the item as a whole. Sorry I dont have sn I'm not quite sure how to post them. (if it requires uploading them to another site I really dont want to worry about it... I used to do that and it seems to take too much time. I dont have that much time to just be posting.) Thanks.

In general, if you have an item with a good mod on it, but the item itself is not top spec, you are better off salvaging the item, and selling the upgrade.
Many people are unwilling to purchase an item in the hopes that an upgrade will come off of it. In the case that you are selling these items for the upgrade you should have no problem selling it at really low prices. However, if you were to salvage a top spec upgrade off of a not top spec weapon, you may be able to sell it for the price of some Grotto armor. |
